Review of May Park Hotel

Can just recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in Konak, quite close to the center of the town. The rooms are spacious enough.

As a fellow hotelier, I know there are definitely things to improve if this hotel wants to be even a 4 star hotel. 1. The walls are paper thin. We stayed on the first floor, and though we asked for a quiet room, we couldn't sleep from the conversations from the restaurant at night and a group of customers that was packing up and making noise early in the morning. 2. There is no stand oranywhere to place the soap and shampoo in the shower. 3. Breakfast was quite mundane, and the staff there was not sufficient. When we arrived for breakfast, there was no plate or glass to use, no bread and not a single clean table to sit at. 3. The reception staff should at least know English, which they did not know very well. The staff was not very helpful to customers. Whether done on purpose or not, we asked for directions out of Izmir to Ayvalik and the receptionist told us to follow the sign/route to Istanbul. We ended up driving for 2 extra hours, close to Balikesir, because of his directions. People who want to at least get some rest while on their business trip to Izmir, and also Greeks avoid this hotel (the comments made to Greeks are not very polite).

Very easy to get from Adnan Menderes airport, just 9 miles. It was definitely 4 stars for us.

stayed here before but May Park Hotel in Izmir exceeded my expectations! Friendly staff, spacious rooms and a great location for exploring. Loved the fast resolution of AC and cold water issues. Definitely good value for money.

cleanliness lacking

The location of the hotel only 5 min walking to the fair venue is perfect for people that participate to this event longer than one day. You can take a short relax during the day and close location makes easier transportation of stuff. The hotel has very friendly staff, especialy receptionists, and you can ask for services at any moment.

Room cleaning was not regular every day and I needed to notify the receptionist ahead to clean the room. Low variety of food for breakfeast and the same one every day.

I would say that the hotel is great value for your money; its rooms are modern clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The hotel includes facilities like Hamam and sauna , even a pool (not in use unfortunately). Overall I would strongly recommend a stay at this hotel if you want to be close to the shops and both districts of the City (Konak and Alsancak) Note: rooms in the front of the hotel overlooking the park have a great view but also street noise. If you want a quit room ask for it (the back view of the city hills is as stunning)

Great hospitality! From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff made sure we were well taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was a highlight with a great selection of food to choose from. We especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread and the variety of olives.

The rooms were a bit noisy at times, and we could hear noise from the street and from other guests in neighboring rooms. The bed could have been more comfortable, and we found ourselves waking up with sore backs in the morning.

The bedroom had warm colors, was very clean, nicy warm (because it was quite cold and windy outside), no noise, a very nice bathroom, a lot of little "things" like free water, coffee and tea in the room, and soap, shampoo, comb, showercap, and plenty of nice free articles in the bathroom (I tell you in French because I don't know the words in English : brosse à dents, dentifrice, rasoir, gel de rasage, cotons-tiges, disques à démaquiller). A very good breakfast with food of grat quality. It was great !

Service, they bring whatever you want to your feet.

The hotel is perfectly located for those who want to be close to the International Expo place, being just off a roundabout and a short walk from the Metro. the rooms are bright, airy and clean, with functional and modern bathrooms. the friendly staff provide great service, including the housekeepers who do an excellent job. Breakfast, whilst basic, includes unexpected delights such as soup!

The view from the hotel is not particularly special or impressive.

I stayed only for 2 days and i liked everything about it! I will gladly come back and stay there again.

Great location for business trips with easy access to the city center and main venues. Additionally, the clean and well-equipped rooms provided a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always making sure to cater to our needs.

The breakfast left much to be desired with a limited selection of food and not the best quality. Also, the facilities were a bit outdated and need some renovations to improve the overall experience.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, situated right on a bustling intersection and only a stone's throw away from a stunning green park. It's also conveniently located just off a roundabout, making it easily accessible from all directions.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. From the prime location to the attentive service and fantastic amenities, this place has it all.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location, opposite the Expo place and very close to a huge green park. It is also very easy to get around this city as the tram station is right next to the hotel. The cleanliness of this hotel is impeccable, and the facilities, including the parking, are top-notch. The breakfast served at this hotel is fabulous, with a variety of options ranging from cooked eggs to yogurts. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and they always go above and beyond to assist guests with their needs.
